| DESIGN NAME: A Proposal of Time PRIMARY FUNCTION: Key Visual of Vintage Vinyl Exhibition INSPIRATION: Retro is now on-trend. People appreciate the aesthetic and value of antiques. With this exhibition, we provide experiential space, having vinyl records playing in the background, letting people immerse themselves in the nostalgic atmosphere. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: With nostalgic music media - vinyl and cassette, combined with coffee, reading, and plants, this exhibition brings four daily proposition for modern, fast-paced lives. The key visual of this exhibition presents a rotating vinyl, a running clock, and a recording cassette. With records overlapping the circle of time, create a feeling of vintage flow. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In this interactive exhibition, the audience can choose and play vinyl records as their preference. Enter each different space of time proposal; audience can experience different atmospheres and music. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: We choose vinyl CDs to make invitation cards and have mini DV tapes as merchandise. Listening to old beautiful love songs, seeing vigor green succulents growing in the obsolete pot, the collision between vintage, music, and greens gives our lives an enchanting aftertaste. CHALLENGE: This exhibition is a cooperation between IDER Branding Design and the Department of Taiwanese Literature of Providence University. These students are not major in design, but they wholeheartedly participate and show their enthusiasm during the whole process. Thus, we create an enjoyable proposal for life and an unforgettable memory.
