| DESIGN NAME: House S.Y. PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Home INSPIRATION: The client needed a home that was comfortable and away from the hustle and bustle of the day. By slightly shifting boxes with different functions, we created a variety of spaces and created a house where you can relax and enjoy everyday life. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This house can be said to be a treasure chest for clients who have accumulated dreams of building a house for many years. A spacious garage and audio room has been set up for cars, golf, music listening and multi-hobby clients. You can enjoy it not only in music and movies, but also in the audio room. You can carry the car to the audio room with 2 post lift, you can enjoy music anytime while loving the car. Lighting equipment changes the color of the space depending on the mood of the day. A relaxing life begins, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The 365 square meter site had a height difference of more than 3 meters, so careful ground design was required. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Most of the basement of the house is a garage that holds four cars owned by the owner. In addition to the garage, there is a golf driving range, which is the owner's hobby, and the basement is made of solid concrete. The wall thickness and sufficient plumbing space were secured to support the weight of the two-story wooden house. Also, to build this house on a steep slope, earth retaining had to be considered. The solid basement also serves as a retaining wall. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Site area:365.1m2 / Total floor area:453.54m2 / Hight:7.2m/ External wall: Dry board, Spray finish / Roof: Galvalume steel plate / Interior: Plaster finish / Floor: Teak / Structure and scale: Wood and SRC structure, 2 floors above ground and the first basement level. TAGS: house, residence, white, Lighting, Japanese modern, Mixed structure, garage, 2-post lift, Osamu Hamada RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Due to complex laws and regulations, it was not easy to separate the parking lot from the general room with a piece of glass. Even in the event of a fire, the use of heat-resistant tempered glass to prevent the flame from reaching the interior of the living room was expensive. CHALLENGE: Compliance with height regulation and securing necessary area: We tried to propose the best plan without compromising the conditions of the site. The latest equipment was designed with the help of experts. Care was taken not to break the balance with architectural design.
