INSPIRATION:
Our inspiration came from the concept of modular minimalist houses like Wikkel House.
The clean and sophisticated design and the minimalist concept is present in the shapes and in the materials that make up the project - metallic elements, wood, glass - of neutral colors, that relate well to the surrounding landscape, not overlapping but still configuring as a new composer element of it.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Zen Mood is a flexible modular concept project. Its parts are easy to transport and its structure is fast to assemble. It can be installed in one day and can be offered in two formats creating many possibilities.
It is a contemporary design that creates lively, unique and creative spaces.
Sustainability is shown in the project through the constructive, clean and industrialized method.
This project is about making architecture as a product design

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
Felipe Savassi Modular Studio has a good know-how working on modular constructions. Francisco Eduardo, as an independent architect, worked on innovative projects that sough to explore new designs and construction technologies. After working together in a project using containers as main structure, the knowledge and previous experience helped them designing the Zen Mood.
CHALLENGE:
The main challenge was a house that could fit in parts as a truck load. Based on its dimensions, the house was split in four modules. Each has its own structure frame at the same time it should be assemble with the other modules. The floor plan layout had to be designed in other to be divided according to the structure.
