RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Before starting this quilling Niamh did research into what it is that best represents Archangel Michael. All of the elements and colours have been specifically chosen to create Archangel Michael as authentic as possible.
CHALLENGE: The process challenges that Niamh came across when creating this piece was knowing when to finish it. Each and every strip of paper was individually cut and shaped and she found it was difficult to know when he was filled in enough without it looking bare in certain areas or adding too much to it.
