| DESIGN NAME: Seoulist PRIMARY FUNCTION: Mobile Application INSPIRATION: Seoul has a long history and rapid urbanization. There are so many different things to see. But, these factors can be somewhat unfriendly and complicated to travelers. So I thought I should help travelers make Seoul feel more attractive. In order to reflect the diverse needs and preferences of travelers, we have designed a service to recommend tourist attractions as music and movies are recommended. With this service, travelers will be able to enjoy a short holiday in Seoul more effectively. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Seoul List is a touring app service for foreign tourists visiting Seoul. The Seoul list is structured so that it can communicate continuously throughout the trip. The three-step Seoul list is divided into curation/guide/log stages. In terms of design aspects, the layout is arranged so that it is easy to use with one hand, reflecting the characteristics of tourists who use lots of luggage and use public transportation It makes it easy to classify the information through a clear components OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: For travelers of various nationalities visiting Seoul, we have actively used easy-to-understand graphic UI. The selected element responds by changing its color or increasing its size. In addition, considering the characteristics of the traveler who has a lot of luggage, we have placed most of the contents in the bottom three quarters of the screen so that it is easy to operate with one hand. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project started in Seoul in May 2018, ended in Seoul in October 2018, exhibited at Hansung University's visual design graduation exhibition in November 2018, and exhibited at the DDP in January 2019. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The Seoul List was produced for the Hansung University visual design graduation exhibition. Three months of design work, two months of production, one month of correction work was completed. After graduation, I exhibited at DDP Young Designer Challenge hosted by Seoul. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: It is a hi-fi prototype created through a prototype program. Actual prototypes enable developers to quickly understand. TAGS: APP, SEOUL, Tour, Trip, Application, Curation, Sevice, asia, trevel, mobile RESEARCH ABSTRACT: We collected data based on the annual report of the Government of the Republic of Korea. We made a distinction between group tourists and individual tourists and found out which nationality visitors need this service. In addition, by entering tags in sightseeing spots in Seoul, we can directly match the needs and preferences of tourists. CHALLENGE: Many databases are needed to analyze users. Tag work on tourist attractions and evaluation of tourists is necessary. And because it's a service that government agencies need to lead, ongoing updates are paramount.
