DESIGN NAME: Caspian Black Pearl
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Logo and Label
INSPIRATION: As we talk about the most luxury food, Caspian Caviar is lightened. Beluga Sturgeon has survived since the Jurassic era, and 93 present of them live in the Caspian Sea. Eventually, the black pearl inspired the designer to create this project. In the designer's opinion, during the creation of this logo for this brand, it has been tried to use the concept of the Beluga Sturgeon details in combination with the letter C.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The main distinguishing feature of the project is the emphasis on the visual perception of the drawing, showing the origin of the product. The labels are printed in pearl paper a symbol of seafood and the shell itself. The logo indicates two main identities which have tried to be brought together in harmony Beluga Sturgeon symbol and the brand's name. The letter C metaphorically comes from the company name and the shape of Beluga Sturgeon forming its body at the time of fertilizing Caviar eggs.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This logo design indicates Royal Beluga Sturgeon products, and expresses the luxury style of the product and it is understandable for target customers.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in October 2018 in Tehran.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The research has been conducted regarding Royal Beluga Sturgeon Caviar's costumers and the result indicated most of them are aristocrats and rich. Caspian Black Pearl company produces caviar cans in low volumes of caviar and luxury gift boxes. The resolution of the company is attracting rich costumers to their products. Because the symbol of caviar is Beluga Sturgeon, the shape of this fish has been used in order to show the category of products which is caviar. Also with a modern and simple design, making the design understandable and accessible for costumers has been given special attention.
CHALLENGE: There are different types of Caviar products in the market. The client's product is one of the most luxury and expensive types of Caviar. Therefor, in its logo and packaging design, special signs and materials were supposed to be used to induce its uniqueness to the costumer. Beluga sturgeon anatomy shape and oyster color were used in labels.
