DESIGN NAME: Scrumbs
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Management Tool
INSPIRATION: The Agile development methodology has been widely adopted by the technology industry, and it branched out into several others that have agile at their core. All these methodologies have iterative development and adaptive planning as their manifesto, they move fast and deploy frequently. The person responsible for keeping the team on track is called the Scrum Master, and even though they could use all the help they can get, tooling is very scarce for this profession. The aim is to change that.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The research conducted for this project had two main stages, competitor analysis and scrum master interviews. Our findings suggested that the tools currently available, fall short on satisfying user expectations, and a major recurring complaint was that their complexity is distressing for the users. We made it a priority to avoid the Swiss army knife effect, and provide a simple and intuitive solution to the users, that solves a specific set of problems and solves them well.
CHALLENGE: Management tools are generally boring, visually displeasing pieces of software. Making a management tool that doesn't cause anxiety in the users, and that they enjoy using was the greatest challenge.
