| DESIGN NAME: Custom Me PRIMARY FUNCTION: Environment Customization INSPIRATION: The project was inspired by the idea and the goal to expand the function of the wallpaper , which has always been just a wall item. With Custom me an image can be an active part of the realization, since it applies to all the components giving them the possibility to connect and to interact each other, going further the traditional use of the wallpaper as a wall decor item. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: It is a project that gives to an environment the possibility of being completely customizable, according to the project's vision. Custom me is able to make the environment unique because of the graphic that extends over every room object and continues without interruption creating a never ending line; the project not only suits for indoor spaces but also for outdoor environments since every image can be printed on any type of material, and it allows to create a never ending range of possibilities. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: This project is able to transform an environment according to individual preferences and providing with the highest levels of customization. With this project the renovation of an environment is made easier and quicker since the image is printed over different textures so that it suits multiple uses. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Materials depend by the specific project. For the realization can be used different materials which are : fibraglass or fibratex, acustica, doorpaper, textile, wallpaper SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Dimensions are fully customizable as it is for materials The materials' charateristics are the following: fibraglass: fiberglass + starch. Components: 83% fiberglass, 17% starch 200 gr./M² grammage: 200 gr./M² fibratex : raw woven fabric, omponents: raw woven fabric starched and sticked; grammage: 200 gr./M² acustica: weighted sound absorption coefficient αw : 0.25 (H) doorpaper: white opacque, texturized Components: 100% polyester; grammage: 360 gr./M² Textile: Self adhesive 100% polyester textile, coated on one side.
