DESIGN NAME: Green Grey
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Fashion Brand Identity
INSPIRATION: Green Grey is a womens fashion brand inspired by the raw beauty of linen. The brand is all about connecting our everyday opposites, work with leisure, urban chaos with serenity, special occasions with daily routine. They believe that the clothes we wear are not just an expression, but part of our identity. By wearing Green Grays creations, we will feel empowered to handle anything that comes our way. The name is chosen for its simple words, green symbolizes nature and grey symbolizes urban.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: I created a new logo and brand identity for a linen brand. Linen is often associated with traditional, rural clothing. Green Grey clothing is a modern day tool for creating and maintaining a balance between urban and nature. The goal was to appeal to a new generation of urban chic women, who have sophisticated taste but eco friendly attitude towards oneself and the environment.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: I combined green and grey colors to get one color. The logo also combined from two words, three identical duplicate letters joined together. By sticking to a minimalistic approach, using simple type and muted color, the logo conveys the eco friendly position of the brand. Linen is one hundred percent recyclable, making it the perfect choice for environmentally conscious people.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: It started in January 2019 and finished February 2019 in Vilnius, Lithuania.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: To enhance the simplicity of the product, I opted for screen printing on white, textured paper.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Natural products are often associated with quality. Inspired by beautiful linen clothing, I created a modern, stylish and sophisticated fashion brand identity. With its minimalistic design, simple like linen, it proselytizes a gift from Mother Nature.
CHALLENGE: All natural positioning allowed me to create a clean brand that appeals to both the stylish and eco friendly alike.
