| DESIGN NAME: Corner Lights PRIMARY FUNCTION: House INSPIRATION: Renew a house for a family with 4 people to live and lead a new life. This family have their own special lifestyle, we inspired by their warm family life and made a warm interior but strong facade for them to protect itself. The owner prepare to enjoy retirement time, they enjoy to share their stories everyday, and enjoy having dinner together. Besides, the owner enjoy traveling, they need a house which can protect itself, that's why we designed a high wall to protect their view from others. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a rebuild 45 years-old house, we decided to make a house which can absorb the sunlight and moon light at every moment. The owner like a clean and contrast facade to show the simple view of house. Also, we create several special scene of frame to illustrate the personality of house. The garden of the house made a comfortable scene when we step into the entry, the windows obtains the light from the sky, and the special frame of room's window have it's own specific view to see through the country. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: With a clear and inspiration discussion and negotiation, we made up consensus ideal concept and both agreed to create a house for the this owner to enjoy the life. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in April 2017 in Taiwan, Kaohsiung and finished in December 2018 in Taiwan, Kaohsiung FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Architecture, Building and Structure Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: painted stainless steel iron, wood ( Thuja plicata), stone painting, wood textile SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 131800mm*620000mm*12 TAGS: steel, concrete panel, house,tyarchistudio, tyarchitects, BIM RESEARCH ABSTRACT: With an architectural process named BIM (Building Information Modeling), this project smoothly negotiated with clients, and prepared a great construction drawings to illustrate the concept of design. In addition, for a healthy house, we took research about non poison materials, includes of materials without TVOC, safe details and interactive spaces. We found Greenkey De-formaldehyde Coating and traditional techniques to make the house. CHALLENGE: With a strong requirement of the owner, we need to find solutions of the design to make sure we can achieve the best result. Design a beauty house is the basic start of designer, but how to make a house with great functions and enough storage spaces for a family is an important issue to solve.
