| DESIGN NAME: Good Cheer! Good Year! PRIMARY FUNCTION: Greeting Cards INSPIRATION: The Lunar New Year is a very meaningful festival for Taiwanese. We usually bless everyone in many ways at this moment. So, for myself, I usually make a greeting card at this time of the year to bless every important person around me. The content of the greeting card usually combines with the Chinese zodiac and creative copywriting. I hope everyone who receives the greeting card will be happy all day! UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The purpose of the greeting card is to congratulate and warm the heart, so that the main vision is presented by hand-drawn illustrations. On the one hand, the hand-painted strokes have more temperature than the usual computer illustration, on the other hand, there are more fun and imagination with the hand-drawn greeting card. Handwritten fonts hopes to make people feel earnestly and sincerity. After all, It’s a pleasure thing to make a hand-written greeting card instead of digital printing in this computer era. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: In the content of the greeting card, the homonym between the languages is used to achieve fun. "Monkey Monkey Year" is taken from the pronunciation of Cantonese "good" - like the pronunciation of the Taiwanese "monkey", developed into the monkey year based on good years. With such a small interest, people will smile and achieve the purpose of blessing. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The design was completed in January 2016. Finished printing in February 2016. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The illustration on the greeting card is drawn with a technical pen, which considers whether many people should use a human hand or a monkey's hand to get a banana, but in terms of fun, it is more appropriate to decide to use a monkey's hand to take a banana. Handwritten fonts try a lot of different ways to determine whether to use your most basic and original handwriting is most appropriate.
