| DESIGN NAME: Rainbow PRIMARY FUNCTION: A Kindergarten INSPIRATION: I would now like to create, is a kind of construction that allows people to feel the joy of life. Toyo Ito said. While the designer designed and planned for this case, Toyo Ito＇s quote has appeared in her mind. Therefore, for both interior and exterior design, I aim for creating a space where kids can feel the joy of life. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Rainbow Kindergarten is the white paint of the four-floor main building compliments other colors and patterns. The shapes and colors of each three-dimensional opening contribute to this contrast between stability and vividness. The thick window frames extend inside for embedded light fixtures and their coloring. The colors of the glass are selected in response to the light conditions under different weathers. The water-proof treatment needs to be thorough to keep the water outside. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: According to the Bible, the rainbow is an excellent agreement between god and human beings. Based on this mood, the designer designed the kindergarten. Through the rainbow concept, we hope the kids can learn in a happy and joyful environment. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Stone, imported tile, iron SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: An area of space is 1650 square meters. TAGS: rainbow, Kindergarten, colorful RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The curving corridor of the courtyard in front of the main building serves as the main entrance. The covered corridor connects the arc of temporary parking for the parents who pick up their kids, rain or shine. The slanted columns support the awnings. CHALLENGE: The designer uses pure white as the color base for the exterior, and the colorful windows and streamlined hallways symbolize rainbow, constructing a fair agreement for the architecture.
