INSPIRATION: The design inspiration comes from the sharing of the Latin American culture and values around the world. A big "social networks" amplifier connected anywhere is the concept of the live event.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Latino Americando Expo is an international music-cultural event representing with authenticity features the customs and the traditions of a unique and inimitable continent: the Latin America. The organization has been working for twenty-two years to a specific target audience, made up of Latin American immigrants and Italians interested and passionate about the Latin American world. The Latino Americando Expo proposal go beyond the area of music, dance and culture, embracing tourism, art, traditions, gastronomy and local products.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: People has shown interest and curiosity towards a culture rich of history and tradition, powered and followed by many multi-ethnic influences, which take shape in the most varied and unimaginable ways, with refined results and strong visual impact, where it is possible find the trace and expression of feelings, sensations and moods of the Latin American people.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in May2013 in Milan and north Italy and finished in August 2013, during the Latino Americano Expo event

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The creative research combined several elements together: typography, visual design, illustration and a chromatic research with a warm colour palette, seeking as a result a global balance with a modern visual language.
CHALLENGE: The challenge was to innovate the Latin America world with a new concept embracing and integrating the social media channels, music and history traditions. The colour palette was created respecting the main values of the Latin American land.
