| DESIGN NAME: Intelligent AIO PRIMARY FUNCTION: Smart Interlinked Camera INSPIRATION: Along with the steady advancement of AI and big data technologies, the demand grows increasingly strong for simultaneous capture of large scenes view and details. Previously, data collection depended on combined use of dome cameras and box cameras. The product is incomplete and installed in a complex manner, and it is also poorly adaptive to varying environments. Moreover, the operator is required to implement debugging aloft again. The whole industry is in desperate need of a new product adaptive to the status quo of data collection. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A multi-module and dual-lens interlinked camera, this product unprecedentedly integrates into one device three modules that can rotate horizontally and vertically, using star-grade low light 4K lens modules to cover large scenes. The interlinked 37x optical zoom star-grade dome camera can present details precisely. Additionally, this product enables simultaneous collection of large scenes and small details, and uses multi-engine dynamic detection and follow-up technologies to extract precise and structured information of people/vehicles within the scope of coverage. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The leading algorithm, combined with the high-speed lens, can fully automatically collect data from the target region. The high-speed zoom camera scans and captures details in images in the wide-angle camera, and uses its built-in AI chips to analyze, process, and output precise and valid data. Hardware replacement through three motion modules can quickly adjust product positioning and save social resources. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in October 2017 in Hangzhou and finished in December 2018 in Hangzhou, And Winning the 2018 Activity Creative China Industrial Design Competition. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Thanks to the mature design, the product can be manufactured through injection molding and die casting processes. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Width 460mm x Depth 260mm x Height 490mm TAGS: Camera，Surveillanc RESEARCH ABSTRACT: After carefully studying the combination methods and motions, we decided to adopt the dual-side-ear design which sets very few limits on operating environments. Demand in different environments places different requirements on the hardware of each product, and finally leads to the modular design of this product to offer more dynamic scalability to customers. CHALLENGE: Before the development of this product, we have got mature algorithms in place. So how to drive the horizontal and vertical movement of three modules in one device? High-speed analysis requires the detail-capturing camera to move at high speed. Then how can we ensure precise positioning of the quickly moving motor and prevent the influence of inertia?
