PRIMARY FUNCTION: Office
INSPIRATION: Loft 21 is a new office studio for TWS&Partners located at Neo Soho Building, Jakarta.The idea is to create an office space that improve the life and working quality of the office workers by offering flexibility in a tight space. The programs that are required in the office: principal's room, secretary and staffs working area, meeting space, printing and pantry area.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: To add more floor area to the mezzanine level,a movable meeting tower consists of two levels was created.The first level of meeting tower functions as a meeting space while the second floor functions as a space to take a break that offers panoramic view of Jakarta.The workstation itself is designed with the ability to create a private working space for workers.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Private or individual working space is provided for each worker. Collaboration or meeting activity can be happened at the meeting tower. The meeting tower can be moved anywhere within the void based on the need of the users.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The design strategy is to create a working space that offers flexibility to accommodate 15 users in a tight space by creating a movable meeting tower that add floor area to mezzanine level. Combination of concrete look wall with special paint, greenery, walnut wood as the accent tie the nature and man made office environment together.
