| DESIGN NAME: The Endless Stay PRIMARY FUNCTION: Architecture Design INSPIRATION: The architecture nestle in a mountain with waterfall called " Sandiequan" , which is famous for its cascade of waterfalls flows throw the mountain , designers use the concept of water flows and layers transforming into Stacking boxes on the building also to mapped with the local nature features . UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a resort contain 24 households , can accommodate 120 residence .Located in the depth of the mountain in Mt.Lu ,each building layer is consist of boxes that use both horizontal and vertical visual displacement to make space looks differently in angles . The building hidden in the mountain, which transforms the mind from the secular to the turmoil of the world ,for layers of the building are superimposed, the angle tends to guide visitors changing their way of thinking,through the grille created ,the image of the spring water flowing down, the sun shines at different times to create light fluidity, also has the function of protecting living privacy. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Resides in Mt.Lu, the design concept is a respond to the hidden location and get modern life a pause to relax , to enjoy the mountain surrounding view and living in a special "box" house of the building ,also using only environmental friendly material to build the resort . PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In the construction method, choose only environmental friendly materials , the building and main wall are used local materials and stones to eliminate the transportation waste that is why grille window is made of aluminum. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The area is total 4777.5 square meters ,the building is consist of different units of boxes , and has 2 to 5 floors variation boxes hight of each unit. TAGS: Mountain, Resorts, Boxes, Privacy, Stacked house RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The design is made due to the hustle and bustle city life in modern days, families need to find a way to get relaxed and feel reset on their mind , with the hidden location, designers create a place that for anyone who resides, can look into the nature and input the energy the earth provides, while living the stacking boxes helping people to think life in different angles . CHALLENGE: The biggest challenge is to maintain a stable structure of the building and design a harmonized angle relations of the stacking house .
