| DESIGN NAME: Cosmic 39 PRIMARY FUNCTION: 12m Rigid Inflatable Boat INSPIRATION: The challenge has always been a fast paced and economical rib with the comforts of a cruiser.Εxploiting every centimeter of free space and inspired from the shapes and the movements of sharks, dolphins and seagulls we devised forms that have greatly managed to bridge this gap while maintaining harmonious lines and high aesthetics. The hi performance luxury rib creates a new class of leisure boats. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Cosmic39 is a high performance, open sea, luxury rib .Under his dynamic, sport and aggressive look, are hiding comforts that are not readily perceived by the first eye.Combines comfortable ,smooth and dry navigation,hi speeds, low fuel consumption ,novelties , automations and amenities that can be found in luxury yachts.Satisfies top performance enthusiasts, as well, as demanding users, looking for safety, liability, comfort and luxury. Cosmic39 provides an hybrid edition ,combinating two outboard engines and one electric ,or two inboard diesel and two electric engines. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The hydrodynamic study of the hull and the aerodynamic design of the deck have created shapes and lines that achieve particularly low fuel and energy consumption, not polluting the environment. It has a spacious cab with simple lighting and ventilation, a full bathroom, two sundeck in the bow and one on the stern, a large 5seater sofa, swivel seats, wetbar, cooking area, refreegerators, wide cockpit viewing area, easy access to the entire length of the boat, airways, large storage spaces, and bimini that adjusts its height to the speed of the boat. The Hybrid edition is enviromental friendly ,redusing the sea polution. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in July 2017 in Athens and finished in September 2018 in Athens. It will be released in June 2019 |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Hull and Superstructure Material:Epoxy and Vinylester Resin, Carbon, Kevlar fiber, Multiaxial fiber. Handmade lay up constraction Leather Marine Upholstery Inox 316 and marine aluminium accessories. Innovative Technology: Τhe HYBRID version of the Cosmic39 combines either : 1.Two electric motors 2x100KW using a single stern-drive system with 2 V8 250 HP outboard motors. With the electrification, the final speed is 32 knots with 35 minutes of autonomy at full speed, or 2 hours at economy speed ,while the final speed is over 60 knots with the combination with the 2 outboards, 2.Two inboard diesel engines with two electric motors 2x90KW using two surface shaft system Arneson type. Τhe system's batteries are charged either from the main dock fuse or from the inboard motors.
