DESIGN NAME: Yitu Healthcare
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Branding Design
INSPIRATION: With the keywords of Artificial Intelligence, Medicine and Care, the outline of the logo reflecting the shape of stethoscope and the letter Y.And, the square inside the logo is an abstract expression of a chip, indicating the core technology of artificial intelligence. The logo also gives a dynamic touch since the chip and the stethoscope look like spinning in 3D space, an embodiment of the integration of Yitu and healthcare industry, and an illustration of the company vision of AI CARE Health.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The main purpose of the project is to communicate Yitu Company's ideology and vision by the design of the corporate logo, typeface, pattern and color etc. based on the understanding and analysis on the healthcare industry and the current technical trend. The hope is by the whole VI system, the audiences can immediately get the pillars of the company, which is care and technology.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In the projected, we firstly used competitive analysis to understand the trend of technology and healthcare industry, and came up with three keywords for the VIS of the project. Then, we used mood-board to extract the design elements, which included color, shape, texture, pattern, typography and photos etc. and consult the client opinion, to start the creative stage. In the end, we chose stethoscope and chip and the blue color to be the main elements of the logo.
CHALLENGE: In the design stage, the most difficult part is to use a concise and chic way to illustrate the shape of chip and stethoscope as well as the integration of the two shapes. We tried dozens of proposals and in the end, by one twist of the angle of the chip, we got the ideal solution which we all liked very much.
