PRIMARY FUNCTION: Official commercial complex
INSPIRATION: environmentally responsibility and sustainable architectural approaches led this project to some strategies that formed the main idea of the building. in order to utilize the natural energies appropriately, sustainable materials in facet and large windows were the best solutions. This project aims to improve sociability of urban spaces and advance the street life in an appropriate way.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A sustainable building which has been designed with attention to urban context of project with awareness of project issues like design as an urban catalyst and development stimulus of city's area. This project considers the main concepts of urban design such as unique life style of citizens, regional materials, preserving and providing valuable views, Transfer Oriented Development and accessibility for all groups specially people with disabilities.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: It is a six-store building which has 3 underground stories for parking and trading centers. Offices and other trade centers are located in ground floor and the other 2 stories above it. The pedestrian ways and the front space were designed perfectly with respect to urban context of Shiraz city that provide an efficient place for communication and social activities. The building itself assumed as a landmark and can have a positive influence on development of its neighborhood.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The design process started in 2015. Construction started in 2016 and was completed in January 2017. The building is located in Shiraz, Iran

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Post tension Concrete Structure, The materials used are :Tent sunshade, insulating bricks, larch wood, reinforced concrete and stone. Large windows flank two sides of the building.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This project required a precise survey about the context of the designation and a comprehensive study on the ways of participating in major urban projects. Therefore various methods and techniques have been used to identify the real needs and true desires of citizens, such as questionnaire, interview, photography, etc. so this approaches were the great help in order to design a responsible building that can provide necessities of a good public place.
CHALLENGE: Finding the suitable way and structure of participating in an urban development project, in which people considers as the investors and their interact with relevant governmental associations was a huge step in this project. On the other hand, a real green building with a reasonable functional issues was a really challenging matter that designers tried to overcome it.
