| DESIGN NAME: Chengdu City Music Hall PRIMARY FUNCTION: Cultural, Arts, Education and Hotel INSPIRATION: Project will gather world-class music culture and art exhibition facilities and resources, the formation of research performances as the core, to a teach-class entertainment for the auxiliary border city cultural landmark; and the northeast of Chengdu Square planning the music of world-class music topic cultural District together to build a world-class music culture industry chain, to build Chengdu become an internationally renowned cultural capital. (This project design is a competition entry) UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Inspired by Chinese landscape painting of natural scenery, building body mass and organic links as expressed landscape. Lush "mountain" landscapes set off architectural form of scattered high and low, pedestrian square foot of landscape painting as "water", as architectural form separates and blends building height from the east to west side of the city the river progressively drop with the green roof, creating a "cascading" OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: - PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: - FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Architecture, Building and Structure Design |
