| DESIGN NAME: The Heart Sutra PRIMARY FUNCTION: Poster INSPIRATION: I love design and I can feel the peace of mind in the process of creating images.Using paper as a raw material is my attempt at design. It's also a way of cultural communication. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Blend tea and paper into raw material, pinch out the shape of Chinese characters by hand and form an article. Tea is a symbol of Zen, blending with the Heart Sutra,which presents peaceful mind and Buddhist spirit. Paper is the carrier of cultural communication. In the process of shaping the pulp, feel the Buddhist culture. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Dissolve the paper in tea soup as raw material. And then pinch the Chinese character with the hand.Put the full text of the heart Sutra on new paper. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in August in China and finished in September. NAME: Huili Temple PROFILE: Huili temple is located in the south of Xiashi Xishan, first built in the East Jin Dynasty. The temple was destroyed due to war in the Tang Dynasty. It was later restored in the Song Dynasty. |
