| DESIGN NAME: ANGLERS BAY PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential interior INSPIRATION: Luxe boutique hotel style was inspired to design this apartment. The simplicity of the design makes the apartment feel very welcoming and approachable. Also, the thoughtful use of functional and decorative lightings made the low ceilings more appealing. The shades of grey throughout the apartment keep the design feel sturdy as well. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Designed for a one large master bedroom living, the flat in Sham Tseng was perhaps incredibly a five bedrooms and two apartments when the couple bought it. Having to provide a spacious and high level of privacy home, they opted for this apartment largely due to its green peaks and breathtaking sea view. This interior design turned two apartments into one apartment with more storage, bigger bathroom and kitchen and space for the male owner to have entertainment in his multifunction room. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: To ensure the apartment would be comfortable for the couple, the design team provided plenty of storage, plus a bigger bathroom and an open kitchen than were in the original two apartments. All existing internal walls were removed to brings a good living environment for the couple. Functional and decorative lightings were used to create a spacious functional space for the owners. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Modern and boutique designs were permeated to increase the levels of visual effect and the extensity of the interior spaces. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This apartment has 1, 150 square feet. TAGS: luxe, boutique hotel, modern, multifunction RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Nowadays, individuals pay more attention to interior design and they usually crave for a stylish interior design. However, it is also essential to modify the design to satisfy their needs and desires. The demand of uniqueness have begun to being emphasised. This apartment was designed by using the concept of boutique hotels as it becomes a global trends for travellers in recent years. Boutique hotel styles are an exclusive combination of modern design and trendy ambiance. CHALLENGE: The owners wanted to combined two apartments into one home. The difficulties were the methods used to create different layers and zones in an open layout plan based on the young couple owners' needs, requirements and habits.
