INSPIRATION:
Young Chinese designers now have overseas educational or work experience.They are seeking new ways to combine deep Chinese philosophy to international expression. They deserve to pay more attention and exposure. By doing this project, I hope to arouse social attentions and discuss the possibilities of change people’s impression ingrained about Chinese design. Realize the transformation from the slogan"Made in China" no becomes "Designed in China”.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The ultimate aim of this design project is to create a new organization called Neochi. This project will bring modern Chinese design and manufacture to the world. It includes, but is not limited to the creation of online and offline platforms, multiple seminars and exhibitions. The project covers a wide range of content and form. The educational part of the project plays important role at both online boutique and offline magazine.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:

The concept of website is not just selling products to the mass market, also narrate the personalities and artistry of designers and brands via presenting campaigns, interviews, reports, storytelling, reviews and other different visual communications. A small independent magazine or catalog will be published seasonally to corresponding the content of online market, which helps consumer to understand the spirit of the brands or designs. It is also a great way to lead Chinese consumer to appreciate and value local designs. As well as the formation of brand loyalty.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
Through studying traditional and contemporary principles of Chinese design. I wrote the whole thesis about what is the real Chinese Design and facts that are obstructing the design industry. Also the biggest difference between Eastern and Western culture. China has a strong history of arts and crafts. However, for a long period of time, the China had been through some political revolutions and events that have greatly damaged the country and has put social and economic burdens on its culture. Today, Improving core competitiveness is critical to the whole industry. An important question is : Where has the design core come from? It’s from culture. This new generation of designers are still experimenting, which is very exciting.
