PRIMARY FUNCTION: Train Station
INSPIRATION: It is easy to become immersed in preconceived ideas called "common sense" and "experience." But these can at times hinder the creation of truly natural and comfortable spaces. It is therefore essential to keep an open mind. Pure design work is a process that involves identifying what is truly needed, and placing the necessary quantities in the necessary places. Architecture is the accumulation of this fundamental work process. This is the very essence of my design.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The design proposes to create a station like a theatre stage - an extension of the local townscape, integrating The design proposes to create a station like a theatre stage - an extension of the local townscape, integrating the station with the town.The first floor is designed with highly transparent material to try and prevent any visual barriers that would create a closed off atmosphere between the plaza and station. Along with the waiting area for trains, buses, and cars, as well as the community centre.This space also serves unique scenery of the sea, mountains, and townscape all in a single view.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: We designed "Station C" in september 2003. And this project was published on "Competition architecture"by BRAUN PUBLISHING in 2009.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The design for the community centre on the second floor is based on boat builder skills which the city is famous for. It involves a highly skilled method of using wooden boards in a spiral cylindrical form, and the project opens opportunities to train a new generation of skilled workers.
