| DESIGN NAME: Magam PRIMARY FUNCTION: Calendar INSPIRATION: The inspiration for the Magam calendar for 2017 was his newly designed visual comunication. Magam is the largest Polish manufacturer of woven labels and curtain tapes. A custom geometric system, symbolically assigned to a specific product group, was created at the customer's request. We are presented the four calendar graphics cards. Graphics showed on the cards are compatible with other graphic Magam materials, rhythmically arranged colored dots, colorful, overlapping circles filled with points and belts. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Calendar consists of a rack on which the spiral is suspended a cover sheet covering the entire surface of the calendar. On the right hand side there are four different graphics cards, each for one quarter of the year, made on different raw materials with respect to color printing and finishing. On the right side there are 12 cards, each for one month with the possibility of notes, made on gray decorative paper, dyed in the mass. Calendar has a box in the form of an original envelope made of red decorative cardboard, dyed in the mass printed with pantone silver OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The graphic presented in the calendar refers directly to the composition of the geometric patterns, the main and the repeated patterns in the various views is the circle. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: hot foil stamping, punching, laser, a variety of printing techniques - combining offset printing with screen printing, printing with the use of properly selected pantone colours, UV coating, digital printing SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: stand 210 x 148 mm, binding spiral, 4 graphics pages format 120 x120 mm, 12 calendar pages 90 x 120 mm, cover format 210 x 148 mm TAGS: Calendar, desktop calendar, pages, printing , screen printing, offset, paper, decorative, unique, treatment, pressing, cutting RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Meeting the customers' expectations, we present a wide range of colors through appropriately used graphic design and some refinement techniques. The following pages of the calendar are arranged in the way to tell a story. Some of them have common elements CHALLENGE: The challenge we faced was to develop an interesting and original concept that offered a wide range of decorative and synthetic tags (curtain tapes, woven labels). In order to achieve this goal, we to paper and the proper choice of colors and textures of the raw materials used.
