Use of gold foil to enhance its divine characteristics and elevate the subject matter. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Acrylic on canvas, enhanced by gold foil. Inspired by a visionary who informed me at a young age that I had my own path. To go and follow my dreams. My own destiny . SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 600mm Width X 760mm Height X 35mm Depth TAGS: #Manifestation, #Adesignaward, #horse #horsepainting, # Adesigncompetition RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Have always wanted to paint this majestic manifestation of divine energy. I have seen it painted and depicted in classic styles many times before, I therefore wanted to give the subject a more modern approach and depict it in a different light. CHALLENGE: A challenging aspect was to make sure the horse was Alive It had to portray movement and action. Getting the proportions right was also of great importance. The application of gold leaf had to be carefully executed in order to not spoil design.
