DESIGN NAME: Kinpak Brand Lab
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Visual Identity
INSPIRATION: Laboratory's title comes from a Taiwanese poet wrote a poem,which said only the wise man can notice the white,and a fool's attention on egrets when egrets standing on the snow .We extract the two words"See"and"White"
as the lab's name,its English name called Kinpak according to the pronunciation of Chinese translation.The Kinpak's logo has evolved by its Chinese name of the seal script.Not only that,you can also read that verse in the logo if you are wise,because the "White" hidden in the margins of "See",meaning the wise man see white.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: We are always looking for a sense of cultural connotation and design pattern to explain this laboratory.After four months, it was born.The mass-tone of pattern using red with Chinese style, the overall design adopted seal type, internal structure and closely integrated with the name of the brand.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Everyone in the team to provide their design for the project, and determines this design after a vote.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in November 2016 and finished in January 2017 at Beijing Normal University Zhuhai, China.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Practical research, using the culture gives meaning are very effective for design.According to the fact,we can using calligraphy,history,poetry to do a design,even joke.
CHALLENGE: We want to use direct way but graceful to create the vivid visual language.Meaning is to make the design look not abrupt and harmony.It is difficult for the understanding of the details.
