INSPIRATION:
The inspiration from the design of the mini tote comes for women who wants to be comfortable whilst being chic and fashionable at the same time. You can carry all you need for a day out and you can carry it in multipule ways: you can carry it in your hands or you can use the extra leather strap to put it on and across your shoulders. Furtermore it contains 2 zippers and the leather inspiration comes from the trend colours of 2017.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
A luxurious, small tote that can carry all you need for a day out. It is stylish enough to complement your chicest evening looks. Tired of carrying a tote? Combine it with the matching multifunctional pouch. It’s big enough to carry your first needs. The pouch can be worn as a wallet, fanny pack, cross body or shoulder bag. Transitioning your look from day to night has never been easier. The mini tote is inspired by the highly successful original POUCHI pouches. These designs are made of pink calf leather with black micro fiber lining. They contain two zippers and an adjustable leather strap.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
A luxurious, small tote that can carry all you need for a day out, it is stylish enough to complement your chicest evening looks. Transitioning your look from day to night has never been easier.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in Januari 2016 and it was finished four months later (April-May 2016) in the Netherlands. The manufacturer locations of the production of POUCHI products, happens at three different locations such as Turkey, Italie and China

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
The chosen design is made of Pink calf leather. Inside the bag it consist of black micro fiber lining. The accessories are a gold metal with POUCHI logo, a leather strap and a gold chain with logo.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
Customer satisfaction survey, quantative research, 'Is the target audience satisfied enough about the product/design?";;, Methodology objective was to be representative and had to have a good sample size (visitors digital channel); online survey, data collection via online (email/website), output research resulted to a final report, data file, presentation results and scorecards, Insights were that the customers were thinking: "who is wearing a pouch nowadays?", with this in mind, Veronica designed a bag that's just more than a pouch: the multifunctional bag was born.
CHALLENGE:
The hardest part of the design was the production of it. It was hard to find a sufficient manufacturer that meet with the requirements of POUCHI, this means the quality, good working environment, materials etc. This resulted to having more than one manufacturer. POUCHI has three: in Italy, Turkey and China. To make sure that the manufacturer meet with the requirements, Veronica Jibodh, designer of the minit tote, travelled to them to make sure that the production was 100% OK.

POUCHI
PROFILE:
POUCHI derives from the word pouch and it was officially established in January 2012. It is best-known for its multifunctional pouch: It's a fanny pack, cross body, a shoulder bag and a wallet in one. The chain is also wearable as a belt thanks to the logo charm. POUCHI does not only have their famous pouch, but it also has a wide range of collection of t'shirts, bags, leather jackets, sunglasses etc.
