Lamp, african, modern, decorative
I wanted to design a lamp which would look like art and would have a soft glow around it,a bit like the way the moon gives its soft glow. After coming up with the initial sketches of the design I discussed with the craftsmen as to how we will get the effect I was going for.The varying lengths and placement was key to the design. Each piece had to be hand carved before assembly.
The hardest part of this project was the production, ensuring that the pieces of the design come together perfectly.
