| DESIGN NAME: Sorriso PRIMARY FUNCTION: Watch INSPIRATION: "I like to see your smile"; is the slogan of our wonderful watch calling "Sorriso". First, whenever you smile on this watch during the day, it sensors your smile throughout its smile-scanner sensor and it simultaneously through its diaphragm mechanism, which is left inside of it, recognizes your smile then its diaphragmatic board opens and the time appears. Second, there is one surprise! The smart screen, which is laid the hands, shows you different photos as soon as the diaphragm opens. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This watch includes a diaphragmatic board mechanism and a smart screen and a smile-recognizer sensor. These parts work together in a good order. In the first stage, as soon as you smile is scanned the diaphragm opens and the watch face shows you time. The screen shows you a different photo each time diaphragm opens and you are going to be surprised each time. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Sorriso is alive and responds you. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project started in October 2016 in Tehran and finished in February 2017 in Tehran. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The materials which are used in the body and wristlet are stainless steel and the one which are used in the diaphragm and hands are aluminum. There is a memory card within the smart screen that is laid inside of the body and you can use it for saving and showing your favorite photos. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The watch face's diameter is 40 millimeters and the length of the super-wristlet is 75 millimeters while it is 120 millimeters for the sub-wristlet. By observing unhappy and dejected people around ourselves, we thought how we can make them happy even a little bit. Whenever you are working with this watch you have to smile and this makes your face happy and succulent and it also can positively affect your surroundings and little by little it can provide a positive and happy society. CHALLENGE: The main challenge is to make a good connecting between functions and emotions throughout neo-generation watches. Making an emotional relationship between Sorriso and its user and then having happy users and society are other Sorriso's priorities, respectively.
