PRIMARY FUNCTION: Branding design
INSPIRATION: 1983ASIA explores local cultural symbol of Taiwan in view of art, refines A from ART is extended as art, combination of light and stage is concept, and the simplified slash presents the indispensable pureness and adventure temperament in art creation. At the same time, it also turns red, which has very profound relation to Chinese people to be more active. KUAS Art and Literature Center is not only a platform for art exhibition but also a stage for all of us.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This is a brand design made for the Art and Literature Center of Taiwan National Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences. KUAS Art and Literature Center was established in the Republic of China 94, which is mainly responsible for overall planning and execution of the art and literature activities of the university and actively promoting inter-schools and social art culture communication.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Art and Culture Center of National Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences has the mission of popularization of aesthetic education. We explored the Taiwan indigenous cultural symbol from the perspective of art, refined A from ART, extended the meaning to ART, and combined the concept of light and stage. The simplified oblique lines show the indispensable pure and adventure temperament in teh artistic creation. At the same time, we made red closely related to Chinese culture more active.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: 1983ASIA according to the positioning and vision of Art and Culture Center of National Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences, 1983ASIA extracted the unique traditional culture characteristics and interesting stories from Taiwan’s local culture, transformed them into the flat visual language, told a Taiwan's touching story to everyone through repeated observation and study of details, and changed the art and culture center into a culture platform carrying dreams and stories.
