RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Firstly, typology research was done. End tables was examined according to their positions, dimensions, layers, details and interaction with other domestic furniture and objects. The results obtained this research; "The distance from coffee table between seating unit is too much influence in the using density for tables that have same physical features.", "End tables that are tall and far from seating units,
it does not seem very convenient to daily use." , "End tables that have multiple layer and in front of the seating unit, It is widely used." , "Embroidered and very detailed table are placed in visible places. The display can be more important than using frequently." Secondly, user research was done with computer game players in their living spaces and the result obtained this research; "They prefer to sit on the sofas because they spend a large part of the day at the computer. They think it is most comfortable than to seat on the chair. For this reason, table is moving object instead of seating unit." Lastly, product research was done to see that which products were made for laptop using.
CHALLENGE: Obviously I did not face any obstacles that restrict me because I have progressed according to the existing possibilities in the design phase.
