| DESIGN NAME: Seahorse PRIMARY FUNCTION: Pendant INSPIRATION: Norse culture,Vikings. Strong-spirited people,warriors. We were inspired by mesmerising landscapes of Norse nature and sea. Our motives were to capture the wild landscapes of Norse wild sea space and its surroundings.Te inspiration was also to create a pendant that reflects the beauty and power in one jewelry piece. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A citrine stone symbolize Norse sea in its dark brownish colour. Our design is unique in its heart :a gemstone is used to catch and spreading the sunlight to give a pendant's hear(center) a glow. + Frangue doesn't work with stones too often. P.s. it's both sided. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: A person can wear it with attached to a chain or to a lace of any material It's a pendant. No special usage rather than a pendant to wear. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in September 2012 in Saint-Petersburg,and was made in January 2013 Saint-Petersburg. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: We used white gold 14 k, a citrine gem (congac) , black diamonds. A concept was created on paper,then modeling 3D model,creating wax model,casting,polish SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 35 mm x 30 mm x 35 mm . The pendant is turnable as you wish. Both sides are identical. TAGS: Seahorse, citrine, jewelry,for men, diamond, gemstone, pendant RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Collecting information on the web type of research,research objectives are : jewelry for men; luxury jewelry; usage of gems in the jewelry, tools used are pinterest; instagram,google. CHALLENGE: Creative challenge was to shape the gold to create a "glowing heart" (the norse sea water) in the sun. To optimize the quantity of diamonds,details and size of a pendant itself.
