Yanolja Corporate Identity
Yanolja is Seoul based no.1 travel information platform which means “Hey, Let’s play” in Korean language. Yanolja provides not only the massive accommodation information and reservation system but trendy travel contents to make people enjoy more. It is our playful and active culture that we mainly focused on when creating the brand image.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The logotype is designed with san-serif font in order to express simple, practical impression.
By using lower case letters it can deliver a playful and rhythmic image compared to applying bold upper case.
The space between each letters is revised exquisitely to avoid optical illusion and it increased legibility even in small size of logotype.
We picked vivid and bright neon colors and used complementary combinations to deliver extremely fun and popping images.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
It is highly recommended to use the selected neon colors since the color is the most important factor of this brand. Although the original shape of the logotype should not be changed arbitrarily, it can be diversified in various ways depending on the product and service.

Creating a graphic motif that can be played in various ways was the most challenging part of this project.
We thought of 2 pins and 1 line hidden in the logotype, which stands for 2 spots and route respectively. When connected to each other, it represents the whole travel experience that users could enjoy.
