| DESIGN NAME: Dali Hotel PRIMARY FUNCTION: Logo and VI INSPIRATION: Dali Hotel is set near Erhai, thus constructing a wonderful engagement with Erhai Moon, one of the famous landscapes in Dali. Inspired by this, we extracted the architectural features of Wuhualou ,a five-floor ancient tower, experiencing 1200-year history, to image with the bright and clear Erhai moonlight. Thus, it forms the initial D from Dali Hotel. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Dali Hotel is a high-end brand combining local ethnic customs with modernity and elegance. It is located in the Dali Old Town, which is full of romantic and artistic atmosphere. The Hotel is surrounded by the beautiful lake of Erhai, the Ear-shaped Sea, an alpine fault lake in Yunnan province, China. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: we extracted the architectural features of Wuhualou, a five-floor ancient tower, experiencing 1200-year history to image with the bright and clear Erhai moonlight. Thus it forms the initial D from Dali Hotel. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Dali Hotel is set near Erhai, thus constructing a wonderful engagement with, Erhai Moon, one of the famous landscapes in Dali. Inspired by this, we extracted the architectural features of Wuhualou, a five-floor ancient tower, experiencing 1200-year history to image with the bright and clear Erhai moonlight. Thus it forms the initial D from Dali Hotel. Such logo we designed is simple and modern, also conveying a strong ethnic flavor. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: In practical application, we extracted and imaged such four landscapes as wind, flower, snow and moon, representing Dali features, plus the national color in Dali, jointly constructing a visual impression with both flavor and elegance.
