Functional winter boots
Usually winter boots are heavy and thick. Wearing them, people might not be able to step out as smoothly as they want. Besides the functions, the appearances of regular winter boots are similar. The reasons above became the encouragement to create winter boots which are not only light weight, but also has a futuristic look.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
DIFFUSION is a variation of winter duck boots. The common duck boots only comes with simple and plain surface, attached three raised lines at the toe part. However, DIFFUSION has three circular cores at toe, heel and arch part, which can liberate the energy from all of the energy bars, the rib-lines on the shell. The continued bars serve as the ribs strengthening the whole structure. The color of bars at the bottom is different from the outsole to enhance the impact of energy. The dual-color rubber outsole creates slip resistance and anti-abrasion.
Because of the shell which is made by ccilucell, the exclusive EVA formula, and the closure structure of the upper, Diffision is completely waterproof. Furthermore, the distinguished metallic eyelets can also serve as the extension of the body of shell.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
Diffusion goes well with the urban look and modern sporty style. When all outfits are neat and simple, Diffusion is the one, which provides the highlights. As nowadays, ankle banded pants and jogging pants are popular, and Diffusion makes the great match-up. When the trousers are narrower, Diffusion pops out. Furthermore, the sides of shell surrounding with energy bars keep a smooth movement while walking.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
The attachment between each molecule of ccilucell compound is so tight that water cannot get into the shell, which provides completely waterproof wearing experience. The dual color rubber outsole is made in one mold, and the two color rubber pads are perfectly sealed together by heat and compression. It cuts down the cost of the assembly process. A solid nylon shank at arch part is supporting and holding the entire foot, so the wearer is not going to have muscular soreness. Nylon material is preceded as a glossy surface, which pops out visually.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:
Women’s US 6: 230mm. The main shell material is CCILUCELL, which is constituted by high performance EVA. The outsole is slip resistant rubber with nylon shank for arch support. The upper is composed by two different artificial leathers, which provides the sense of technology. The zinc alloy eyelets are strong enough to hold the shoe lace stably.
Winter, fashion boots, duck boots, waterproof
CCILU design team has done marketing research for style, material and function of boots. The customers in northern countries and island countries are targeted since the weather there is usually cold and rainy during winter time. People need a pair of functional boots to be up against such bad environment. Therefore, the idea of duck boots has been chosen, for it is not only functional but also fashionable. However, the common duck boots come with pure rubber bottom, so they are heavy, and the shapes are usually not differentiated among brands. Thus, Diffusion, this pair of duck boots with CCILU’s gene and technology were designed.
The energy bars are hard to be connected and diffused together when it comes to 3D model building. After calculating all dimensions, it successfully been well connected with all energy bars started from 3 core circles and perfectly connected to each other. As a result, it looks beautiful.
People are used to the typical duck boots, so it is essential that Diffusion was launched as a new evolution of duck boots and make people willing to accept our concept.
Since the size of injection ccilucell compound cannot be 100% precisely controlled, it is difficult to make ccilucell shell, nylon shank, rubber, lining and upper assembled all together. Thus, the extra process forced the shape with special setting after injection by forming last, trying to reduce the deviation of size.
