Generally, fruits and vegetables pile up on each others and it causes them to early rot in the fridge, since they can’t get fresh air sufficiently and sometimes they’re forgotten to bought by users. Project was created to solve these problems.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Tazetut, through mobile compartments, offers to users fruits, vegetables and a lot more food storage facilities as we wanted in the fridge. Tazetut has a functional approach to food organizing. At the same time it prevents fruits and vegetables from rotting by storing them in the mobile section. Tazetut keeps your foods fresh and tidy your fridge at the same time. When the user needs, they can change the number of moving parts.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
User can change the mobile section sizes simply drag the plastic white parts in horizontal axis.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
Tazetut is a junior year midterm project. It was finished in Ankara, Turkey.
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
Injection moulding PP for yellow fitting parts, Injection moulding ABS for plastic white parts, Extrusion method PE for net part, Metal Extrusion Process Aluminum.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:
Tazetut can be produced with today's production methods. It dimensions can be adapted for any refidgerator. Through metal extrusion method, it can be produced easily for any refrigerator interior space.

Main research approaches for this project was observing users, shopping processes and refrigerator usage processes.
The main challenge with the project was to make the whole parts easy to cleanable. The second challenge was to make a project have less parts as possible as. It was important to me as a designer to enable the user to easily keep vegetables and fruits fresh longer. Doing all these together, organizing, keeping vegatables and fruits fresh longer, making parts for easy cleaning was another the challenge by itself.
