Conversion of metal planes into balanced volumes and forms that can be delicate and bold, simultaneously, and that can adapt comfortably to the human anatomy and the natural movements of a person. Translating careful observation of the body’s anatomy and its movement into contemporary jewelry making and design.
Designing a double ring that would be worn on 2 fingers without restricting their freedom of movement; finding the specific gauge of silver square rod for the bands and overlapping them between the fingers without compromising the comfort and movement of the piece; positioning the angles of the shapes in order to work on top of 3 fingers and keep the lightly appearance and floating illusion of the ring over the fingers. Addressing of those challenges resulted in a comfortable piece of jewelry that can be worn without limiting the movement of the fingers or affecting the quality of the design.
