| DESIGN NAME: Changbai Mountain Sales Office PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sales Office INSPIRATION: The designers emphasize on environmental protection in the scheme, praising highly on integration of architecture and nature, and making people feel silence in natural atmosphere. You can let sunshine shining willfully in space, taste a pot of tea, and feel some buddhist mood. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Designers show originality, was not decorated too much, whole space on the basis of logs, keep the vitality of the original wood, real wood material used in the grain is clearly visible, just like the history of precipitation, more of a natural temperament. In the position such as smallpox, metope adopt wooden beam structure, or original lumber splicing way, natural go vulture act the role ofing, make sense of the amount of line and plane itself and the tension is released. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: In terms of the architectural design, the exterior wall adopts a large area of glass curtain wall, making people indoor clearly feel the outdoor natural atmosphere through the introduction of the outdoor elements (such as the local natural wood and the rough gravel) into the indoor. Meanwhile, accompanied by the wildness style furnishings, the light medium forms through the combination. The overall space is based on logs, so the positions including ceilings and walls all adopt the wooden beam structure or the original timber splicing method, releasing the quantity feeling and the tension of lines and planes. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 5000 square meters, three-story building, used for real estate sales, sales office, logistics, etc. TAGS: Changbai Mountain, nature, the sales department, interior design RESEARCH ABSTRACT: First of all, we collected a large number of relevant materials, and then went there to feel the natural ecology and climate in support of our research on this project. We tried to make the design more in line with the local culture. After experiencing the local life and feeling the cultural atmosphere there, we also noted that the local forest resources were abundant, so we selected the local materials as design elements. We also visited the local wood processing plants to find the most suitable materials, and then conducted accurate partition by means of the computer technology to reduce the material loss as far as possible, thus achieving a balance and getting the best effect. After the project was completed, both the owner and the customers were very satisfied with the project. CHALLENGE: The challenge lies in the material selection due to two reasons. At first, what we select are natural materials, and the changes of their natural lines are unpredictable and require constant understanding and investigation, increasing a lot of difficulty to our work. Besides, the local temperature difference and the fire index lead to various restrictions on the material selection.
