| DESIGN NAME: Calendar “Color Cartridge” PRIMARY FUNCTION: Calendar INSPIRATION: I designed three-dementional calendars which are practical, and can be displayed as a room interior. Town is an universal motif over ages, sex, and border. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Color Cartridge composed of a date template and sheet showing days of the week. Insert a new sheet printed with color blocks each month to create a calendar for that month from the cutout numbers. The typeface is an original design. The color of sunday and national holiday changes every month. Quality designs have the power to modify space and transform the minds of its users. They offer comfort of seeing, holding and using. They are imbued with lightness and an element of surprise, enriching space. Our original products are designed using the concept of Life with Design. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Calendar base cut off a number includes 12 sheets. Users change a sheet after the month. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Calendar “Color Cartridge” launched in July 2014. FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The Color Cartridge calendar is produced by high level printing and manufacturing technologies in Japan. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 108mm (H) x 174mm (W) x 5mm (D) TAGS: Color Cartridge, calendar, Japan, Katsumi Tamura, good morning inc. RESEARCH ABSTRACT: There were little desktop calendars with cool design. We release the Color Cartridge calendar to create a new market. CHALLENGE: It is very hard to cut off thick paper with sharp edge. We challenged the difficult processing with printing company.
