| DESIGN NAME: Fit2You Boutique Fitness PRIMARY FUNCTION: Boutique Fitness INSPIRATION: "Elevated Box" as an element of impact, marked by colorful coated stainless steel volume. The axes of movement define interior spaces. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The circulation defines an axis to the hall with double height ceiling and it is marked with a different floor design; a wall with a black coated stainless steel with openings illuminated with LED and a slatted lining that lets in natural light. The footbridge is covered in green stainless steel. The facade is marked by the superior volume covered with green stainless steel and the inferior wall covered with exposed concrete between the sidewalls covered aluminum composed in black. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The different material used (mirrors, vinyl flooring, cement coating and colorful stainless steel) aligned with the light design which merged the use of warm and cool light resulted in a distinguished space, where each material, define the inside and outside architectural volumes. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: One of the outstanding coatings used in the project was colored stainless steel. Material that produces a distinctive visual effect, due to the reflection of light in different color tones. The other materials used, exposed concrete and panels of aluminum compound in black, are more neutral, thus giving greater prominence the colored stainless steel. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Built area: 507 m² Site area: 322 m² Materials: Concrete, stainless steel and glass Structure:Metallic TAGS: Boutique Fitness RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In order to have a wide area of equipment, circulation was positioned to the lateral marking a axis with LED lighting that changes color according to the duration of each training. The projects of sound and lighting were also important and accompanied trough the entire process of project design. We did a research for materials to create the visual impact required. The whole process of elaboration and development were done in a short time, approximately five months. We made additional aftercare of the work to get a better result. CHALLENGE: Create a new visual identity through a visual concept of impact, suiting the extensive program requested by the client in a small area.
