Interview with JOSÉ RICARDO BASICHES at Sunday 30th of March 2014 FS: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design? JB: Meet the needs of my clientes when we tried to create a totally concept of fitness for a particular audience FS: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve? JB: With this work plan achieve the satisfaction and enjoyment of people attending the site for you to enjoy every day more of needs to work the body healthy and conscious way FS: What are your future plans for this award winning design? JB: To continue wit this work always seeking the most elaborate details to get a result precision between architecture and a funcionality. Reach this goal is that motivates us to seek and always study each type of project that wu have developed FS: How long did it take you to design this particular concept? JB: Takes 15 days to develop the concept FS: Why did you design this particular concept? Was this design commissioned or did you decide to pursuit an inspiration? JB: Customers jsut gave me the will and the desire to design a facility with different concept, something cozier where all who love and those do not like to train FS: Is your design being produced or used by another company, or do you plan to sell or lease the production rights or do you intent to produce your work yourself? JB: There is a plan to expand to other cities in Brazil and abroad, We are responsible for all new projevts FS: What made you design this particular type of work? JB: The challenge of studying and desnhar something different from the conventional. The passion for architecture makes this the perfect design search motivates us every day to improve more and meet the customer program. FS: Where there any other designs and/or designers that helped the influence the design of your work? JB: I seek inspiration in life, in the city and drawings that practice to put the ideas into practice. FS: Who is the target customer for his design? JB: Any person or company that seeks a result that replicates of escape, and give us liberade to create to reach melhro possible outcome of a project FS: What sets this design apart from other similar or resembling concepts? JB: This project is something totally different from other gyms. The size of our concern with design and wellness. The finishing materials, coatings and all climate created, differs from other FS: How did you come up with the name for this design? What does it mean? JB: The name of this project was chosen by customers FS: Which design tools did you use when you were working on this project? JB: Always in every project we start from the initial idea to the simpler, the pencil and paper and a lot of creativity FS: What is the most unique aspect of your design? JB: The bold use of materials, and much creativity to put all the equipment program in a single functional space FS: Who did you collaborate with for this design? Did you work with people with technical / specialized skills? JB: Our entire team is qualified to develop qualqeur project type. Our teamwork is critical to the success of each project FS: What is the role of technology in this particular design? JB: This fully attached to the project. Starting with training where one can already view the online training before arriving at the gym, have your review to buy other drills and everywhere lighting project was designed to practice time and students circuit FS: Is your design influenced by data or analytical research in any way? What kind of research did you conduct for making this design? JB: Yes We did a survey of students' profile and other gyms to get this project FS: What are some of the challenges you faced during the design/realization of your concept? JB: Study thoroughly all it takes to get the perfect result between functionality and aesthetics, for the welfare and health care of all students FS: How did you decide to submit your design to an international design competition? JB: Interest in the promotion of the work of Brazilian architecture as a qualified and international awards FS: What did you learn or how did you improve yourself during the designing of this work? JB: I learned that every job we are always learning, always busncando a new challenge and will always do the best
