UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Golden West Bay concept exemplifies a pure geometrical scenario tailored by a clear physical language. The diagonal cut of one pure rectangle and the sliding of the parts resulted in a striking, modern three-dimensional image. The two sliding parts challenge gravity and embrace one another through a joint. This innovative design approach creates an eye-catching structure that stands out from the rest.
By forming this elegant and monumental silhouette, the building is seen to celebrate the strength of monolithic symmetrical sculptures which in turn symbolize power. The conceptual massing reflects the sliding idea of volumes with a central vertical and structural core.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The construction was launched in July 2006 and ended in January 2008. The tower is located in the West Bay district, in Doha - Qatar.
The Golden West Bay Tower has won the “Best Office Architecture in Qatar” Award at the 2012 Arabian Property Awards.
