| DESIGN NAME: LOTUS PRIMARY FUNCTION: Bathroom Set INSPIRATION: The inspiration came from the shape of the Lotus flower(Nelumbu Nucifera) and its leaf which is very peculiar in terms of water and dirt repelling. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The idea is to design an object as if an elegant Lotus flower is rising from the water.Again in order to imitate the nature a special coating which has water and dirt repelling property has been applied to the surface of the article. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The design team has studied the future production steps and assembly components together with the relevant departments throughout the design stage. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Location and duration of the project; Bilecik / Bozuyuk / Turkey The project started in April 2011 in Bilecik / Bozuyuk / Turkey and finished in February 2012 in Bilecik / Bozuyuk / Turkey, and was exhibited in Unicera Fair in March 2012. Acrylic:Bathtubs Bathtub : ( Acyrilic ) SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: wc pan with monoblock cistern: 700 x 360 x 960 mm Monoblock washbasin : 600 x 450 x 850 mm Counter top Washbasin : 600 x 370 x 185 mm Bathtub ( Acyrilic ) : 1900 x 1000 x 600 mm TAGS: sanitaryware,bathroo RESEARCH ABSTRACT: As a concept all the the objects of the set are free standing and have peculiar shapes.Therefore an intensive research has been conducted to develop production methods,assembly parts and auxiliary parts.
