| DESIGN NAME: Dallas Mavericks Season History, 2011 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Statistical poster INSPIRATION: Sports fans and their tireless devotion to the numbers behind the games they follow. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: I've gathered data sets from multiple sources to compose a visualization that represents the highs and lows of the season for this championship team. The data is processed in a customized javascript code that draws the data into the form we've established. This is the third series of such posters that I have created. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Packages used: Javascript, Adobe Illustrator. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 610mm x 914mm TAGS: Sports, poster RESEARCH ABSTRACT: - CHALLENGE: The design requires thousands of data points that are assembled from various sources. The final product is the result of processing that data with javascript and drawing it with code in Adobe Illustrator.
