| DESIGN NAME: Growing Table PRIMARY FUNCTION: Outdoor coffee table INSPIRATION: Use of nature, especially the characteristics of ground plants, as an integral part of the design and inspire. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The overall design is an intersection of dynamic movement and static posturing. The table provides a space where plants can grow and be viewed at the table, in order to create a place for relaxation and interacting with nature. The table top surface also use as diffuses light to create a greenhouse feature. Finally, the table is made for easy storage, it could be knock down into a 660mm x 660mm x 102mm cuboid. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The Growing Table is made of walnut hardwood which reflects the color of soil and creates a backdrop that makes plants more visible. All parts of the table are designed into fiction fit for easy assembly, no screws needed.
