DESIGN NAME: Meet Purple
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Interior Design
INSPIRATION: The project draws inspiration from the graceful elegance of American interiors, subtly infused with British design influences. The client sought a sophisticated yet relaxed ambiance, moving away from traditional elements such as trims and frames. Through continuous dialogue and keen observation, the design team meticulously shaped a space that reflects the client’s vision. Gold and champagne gold accents enhance the refined atmosphere, while each area is thoughtfully arranged to complement daily routines and functional requirements.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This design reimagines American style with a gentle and romantic ambiance. A dreamy lavender palette enhances the dining and study areas, creating an elegant contrast with carefully selected materials. The foyer stands out with its grille accents and transparent glass, replacing traditional solid walls to establish a seamless spatial flow through light and shadow. Additionally, well-proportioned ceiling trims add depth and sophistication, ensuring a space that is both architecturally refined and visually engaging.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Upon completion, the homeowners were thrilled with the transformation. While inspired by American style, the design creates a romantic ambiance uniquely tailored to the couple's lifestyle. The living, dining, and study areas provide a serene retreat, perfect for relaxing with tea, books, and music. A thoughtfully planned spatial flow enhances daily interactions, fostering both comfort and connection. Their deep satisfaction led them to recommend the design team to family and friends, appreciating the home's harmonious composition and timeless elegance.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: This project seamlessly integrates precision craftsmanship with material innovation, achieving a perfect balance between aesthetics and functionality. Key elements such as iron detailing, refined trims, SPC flooring, and eco-friendly latex paint are thoughtfully combined with various glass applications to enhance spatial fluidity. Advanced joinery techniques ensure flawless cabinetry, while custom metal grilles introduce structural rhythm. Additionally, the strategic use of light, reflection, and translucency deepens spatial perception, reinforcing a modern yet inviting atmosphere.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: This 1157 square meter project features a three plus one bedroom layout, including an inviting foyer, an open-concept living and dining area, a well-appointed kitchen, a master suite, two secondary bedrooms, and a dedicated study. The original partitioned dressing area in the master suite limited its functionality. To improve spatial efficiency, the design team removed the solid divider, repositioned the bed to align with Feng Shui principles, and optimized circulation flow. The overall layout follows ergonomic and structural principles, ensuring a seamless blend of comfort and practicality.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This project is based on sustainable design research, focusing on creating an eco-friendly and user-centered living environment. The methodology includes material analysis, environmental impact assessment, and ergonomic studies. Data was collected through on-site evaluations and client feedback to ensure optimal ventilation, lighting, and overall comfort. Findings indicate that F1-grade SPC flooring and eco-friendly latex paint significantly enhance indoor air quality while reducing maintenance costs. These insights contribute to the advancement of sustainable interior design, benefiting both the environment and the well-being of occupants.
CHALLENGE: One of the greatest challenges was addressing the client's past negative renovation experience. The design team dedicated significant time to in-depth communication and trust-building to ensure their concerns were fully understood and alleviated. Another obstacle was the spatial limitation, as the initial layout did not accommodate a bar area. Through on-site evaluations and strategic reconfiguration, the team optimized the underutilized guest bathroom space, seamlessly transforming it into a functional yet elegant bar that perfectly aligned with the client's vision.
