PRIMARY FUNCTION: Residential Complex
INSPIRATION: The design of Royal Residential Complex was inspired by a desire to blend luxury, functionality, and nature in a modern urban setting. We sought to create a space that enhances the quality of life, offering a balance between privacy and community. Drawing from research on sustainable architecture and contemporary living, the project integrates green spaces, cutting-edge amenities, and wellness features to provide residents with a harmonious and comfortable lifestyle.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Royal seamlessly integrates modern architecture with the rich historical heritage of Erdemli, Mersin. Inspired by ancient civilizations such as the Hitites, Romans, and Byzantines, the design incorporates iconic architectural elements like arches and columns. Unique features include a 2200 m2 seawater pool, a 350 m adventure water canal, thermal pools, dynamic landscape lighting that changes with the wind and every apartment offers breathtaking sea views, ensuring an unparalleled living experience
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Royal Residence is designed to offer seamless interaction between its residents and the environment. The apartments and villas are equipped with smart home systems, allowing residents to control lighting, temperature, and security remotely. The layout promotes easy movement between communal spaces, like the pools, sports facilities, and wellness areas. The integration of sustainable systems, such as energy-efficient heating and water management, ensures comfort while reducing environmental impact.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The Royal Residence project commenced in January 2024 in Erdemli, Mersin, and is expected to be completed in December 2025. The project has been carefully planned to integrate modern architectural design with sustainable living practices, aiming to provide a high-quality living environment. Once completed, it will offer a wide range of luxurious residential and communal spaces, enhancing the local community's lifestyle in Erdemli.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The design of Royal Residence utilizes advanced BIM (Building Information Modeling) technology for precise planning and seamless integration of structural, mechanical, and architectural elements. Sustainable materials, such as energy-efficient glass and eco-friendly insulation, were selected to enhance energy performance. The incorporation of smart home technologies, green roofs, and water-efficient systems further reinforces the project's commitment to sustainability and modern living.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Royal Residential Complex covers 41,000 m2 of built area on a 23,000 m2 site. The project includes two 13-story towers and one 7-story tower, totaling 200 apartments, including 29 garden duplex villas. Key amenities include a 2,200 m2 seawater pool, 350-meter adventure canal, and 200 m2 thermal pool. Sustainable materials and energy-efficient systems ensure comfort. Arches, inspired by historical architecture, are integrated into some areas of the design, blending modern and traditional elements

The project had to respect regional architectural styles while integrating advanced technologies and eco-friendly materials. External factors, such as building codes and energy efficiency standards, required careful consideration. Overcoming these challenges involved extensive research, collaboration with experts, and innovative design solutions.
