PRIMARY FUNCTION: Camper Van Branding Project
INSPIRATION: Passion for camping and exploration, with 30 years of expertise in vehicle seat manufacturing, Chang Ying Enterprise saw the need for camper vans that blend professionalism and ease. Modification of the camper van by Integrating technology and innovation for functionality, flexibility, and customization. With flexible parking systems, practical interiors, and streamlined modifications, allowing users to create their dream vehicles effortlessly, fulfil a youthful, free, and adventurous lifestyle.
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Playgo embodies fun, action, and adventure, with the slogan take you to play more! reflecting its mission to simplify camper van travel. Its vibrant orange and black logo symbolizes exploration and reliability, while curved typography adds a modern, approachable touch. Offering customizable modifications with flexible interiors, Playgo enhances convenience through an online quotation system and a physical display area, ensuring users fully understand its value.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Playgo's brand identity is applied to business cards, tote bags, envelopes, letterhead, folders, websites, social media, and camper van decals, ensuring consistency and recognition across both physical and digital platforms. The brand logo, with its sleek lines and orange-black color scheme, embodies professionalism and energy, drawing attention in both static and dynamic displays.
Business cards, letterhead, and envelopes emphasize the brand's professionalism, while tote bags and folders combine functionality with style, enhancing daily visibility. The website and social media platforms provide seamless interactive experiences, effectively conveying the brand's story and value. Camper van decals act as mobile advertisements, extending the brand's spirit to the outdoors and capturing even more attention.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project began in November 2023 and concluded in 2024, with a brand launch event and experience store opening held in November 2024.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Playgo's brand visual design was created using Adobe Illustrator, while the animation components were developed with Adobe Premiere and After Effects, showcasing the brand's dynamism and energy. The logo's color palette includes RGB, CMYK, and Pantone options, ensuring consistency across digital and print media, enhancing brand recognition.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Playgo's logo has a minimum application height of 10 mm, making it suitable for various mediums such as business cards, tote bags, envelopes, letterheads, folders, and vehicle decals. This ensures the clarity and consistency of the brand image. The design guidelines cover color ratios, font spacing, and line thickness, standardizing visual presentation and enhancing brand recognition.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Playgo's brand research focuses on user needs and market trends, leveraging 30 years of expertise in automotive component manufacturing to explore possibilities for easy, functional, and personalized camper vans. Through user interviews and market analysis, the brand established its core values, Professional, Relaxed, and Vibrant.
The research revealed that users desire simplified modification processes and enhanced convenience. These insights guided the design of the online quotation system and physical display area, seamlessly integrating brand value with user experience, setting a new standard for the camper van market.
CHALLENGE: The design challenge for Playgo lies in establishing a clear brand positioning in the highly competitive camper van market, combining professional technology with a relaxed and enjoyable user experience. Simultaneously, the brand must balance highly customizable functionality with a simplified modification process to attract the new generation of outdoor enthusiasts.
The naming process was a significant hurdle. The name Playgo needed to convey a spirit of exploration and freedom while being simple, memorable, and distinctive. Additionally, the visual design had to strike a balance between professionalism and vibrancy, reflected in the logo’s sleek lines and the orange-black color scheme.
Another challenge involved creating a user-friendly online quotation system and a physical display area to enhance users’ understanding and ease of selecting modification options. Playgo overcame these obstacles to build a brand that seamlessly combines professionalism with energy, redefining standards in the camper van market.
