DESIGN NAME: Wave Mansion
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Villa Residence
INSPIRATION: cfd-mapped Taihu Lake ripples and Olympic motion data fuel the design: Athletes' kinetic patterns inform roof profiles, while AI-reconstructed cormorant fishing trajectories shape suspended corridors. Machine learning analyzed 2,300+ Jiangnan motifs, synthesizing Suzhou embroidery patterns into parametric modules. The breakthrough lies in quantizing water's ephemerality, 89 fluid equations govern facade curvature, creating China's first architectonic "liquidscape".
UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This hyper-fluid complex pioneers parametric regionalism, translating Taihu Lake's waves into 7 gradient Bim facades with 0.08mm-precision curved glass. The 270-degree glass curtain walls and L-shaped balconies redefine urban sightlines, while the "Three Courtyards, Nine Realms" landscape digitally reincarnates Jiangnan poetry. The 12m cantilevered infinity pool combines hydrodynamic simulations with post-tensioned concrete, achieving 23% higher structural efficiency than conventional solutions.
OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Spatial choreography enables 4D navigation:
1.Biomimetic canopies guide movement via light gradients;
2. Stacked atriums generate parallax views through 14 degrees sloping greenscapes;
3. Electrochromic glass "ripples" respond to pedestrian density;
4. AR-enhanced circulation reveals hidden cultural layers. The anti-gravity roof channels rainwater into interactive cascades, reducing drainage load by 41%.
PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: This project is located in Wuxi, Jiangsu. It was designed from 2023 and will be fully completed by 2026. Part of it will be completed and put on sale in December 2024.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The design emerged through an iterative process blending parametric modeling and site-specific analysis. Inspired by Taihu Lake's fluidity, the team employed advanced cad tools to craft flowing curves and glass curtain walls. Landscape design utilized 3D simulations to integrate water features and greenery seamlessly. Full-scale mockups refined the villa's private elevators and basements, ensuring precision. Materials like high-strength glass and steel were selected for durability and elegance.
SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The building area of Wave Mansion is about 155-278 square meters. The lake villa with a building area of 260-392 square meters
